Nintendo is giving fans an exclusive opportunity to experience the Nintendo Switch 2 before its official release. Invitations have been sent out to select individuals who registered for hands-on events taking place in cities across the U.S., Canada, Europe, and beyond.
The U.S. events will be held in New York (April 4–6), Los Angeles (April 11–13), and Dallas (April 25–27). Fans lucky enough to secure an invitation shared their excitement on social media, posting screenshots of emails that read, “Congratulations! You are going to Nintendo Switch 2 Experience.”
The events are expected to showcase content revealed during the April Nintendo Direct. While Mario Kart 9 is the only officially confirmed game so far, speculation is high about what additional titles attendees may get to try out.
Outside the U.S., Nintendo is hosting events in Toronto (April 25–27) and European cities such as Paris, London, Milan, Berlin, Madrid, and Amsterdam throughout April and May. Asia-Pacific fans will also get their chance in cities like Tokyo, Seoul, Melbourne, and Hong Kong in May and June.
The timing of these hands-on events has further fueled speculation about the Switch 2 release date. Publisher Nacon previously stated the console would launch before the end of September, narrowing the window for release.
Revealed in January, the Nintendo Switch 2 is confirmed to include backward compatibility and a second USB-C port. However, many details remain under wraps, including the purpose of a mysterious new Joy-Con button. Fans are eagerly awaiting more updates as the countdown to the release continues.
