Konami is fully committed to delivering on fan expectations with its upcoming Silent Hill projects. Following the successful release of Silent Hill 2 Remake in October, developed by Bloober Team, the company has turned its attention to two new titles: Silent Hill f and Silent Hill: Townfall. Alongside a movie adaptation of Silent Hill 2, these projects aim to breathe new life into the beloved franchise.

In an interview with 4Gamer, producer Motoi Okamoto reflected on the achievements of 2024, emphasizing the success of Silent Hill 2 Remake. “The focus now is on the announced Silent Hill f and Silent Hill: Townfall. We are working hard to meet fan expectations and will strive to provide updates in 2025,” Okamoto shared.

Details about these new games remain sparse. Silent Hill f, a collaboration with NeoBards Entertainment, takes the series in a fresh direction by setting it in a rural Japanese town during the 1960s. Meanwhile, Silent Hill: Townfall, developed by No Code (known for Observation), is rumored to be part of an anthology series.

Okamoto, a veteran game developer with experience on Nintendo classics like Luigi’s Mansion and The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, joined Konami in 2018 to oversee Silent Hill’s new direction. With his leadership, the franchise looks poised to evolve while staying true to its survival horror roots, as Silent Hill f and Silent Hill: Townfall take center stage.
